Chandler at Together For The Gospel
Last week I heard Matt Chandler share at Exponential. I have been listening to him for a couple years. He’s solid, theological, and isn’t a fundamentalist. That’s a good combination!
He’s had his own battle the last six months with cancer. He took some time to share at Together For The Gospel with CJ Mahaney a couple weeks ago. Chandler is an example of someone who is suffering well. Watching this helps put everything into perspective.
The Gospel
This Christmas we did an illustrated message called Jesus Saviour. In it we did two videos that help share the Gospel and answer the question why we need a saviour. The first video explains why we need a saviour and shares the story of sin and separation from God. The second talks from Colossians 1 about how we can be reconciled to God through Jesus and his work on the cross and the reality that we can stand blameless before a just God because of what Jesus has done.
Saving Christmas
For Christmas we ventured into new territory at RVC. We created a short film for Christmas called Light In The Darkness. It went really well and close to 700 people saw the film live!
